Portland Natural Bee Removal
Pesticide-free Bee and Wasp Removal and Relocation

Bee and Wasp Removal Services

We combine our skills as biologists and carpenters to remove hornets, wasps, yellowjackets, and bees with minimal damage to your home and absolutely no pesticides.

Hive Removal

We perform complete removal of stinging insect colonies, including:

  • hornet removal

  • wasp removal

  • yellow jacket removal

  • honeybee relocation

  • bumblebee relocation

We precisely locate concealed nests in walls using infrared technology, and remove all pieces of the nest by hand. Unlike conventional exterminators, we use no pesticides or other chemicals in the removal process. After the removal is complete we repair/replace drywall or siding if needed. We guarantee our service and will return free of charge if the colony is not completely removed.

Honeybees and bumblebees are relocated to new homes after capture, while hornets, wasps, and yellow jackets are quickly frozen for use in allergy immunotherapy treatments.

Bee Relocation

We relocate honeybees and native bumblebees to locations where they can thrive, continuing to do the important work of pollination without bugging you.

Native bumblebees have a queen and colony structure much like honeybees. We rehouse the bumblebee colony in a custom box and move it to a new site where they can continue to gather pollen and nectar.

Honeybee Swarms

If you see a mass of honeybees gathered on a tree, bush, or the ground in the springtime, it’s probably a honeybee swarm. Honeybees swarm when new queens leave an old hive with a large group of workers to start a new colony. We capture these swarms free of charge and relocate them into hive boxes.

Are you interested in receiving a swarm or hosting a bumblebee colony at your home? Send us an email or give us a call.

Do you have stinging insects at your home but you’re not sure if you need a removal? We will try to give you our best advice over the phone, but sometimes it helps to have an in-person consultation. We can identify insect species, evaluate risks, and help you decide on the best course of action.

Pollinator Education

We are always excited to share our love of pollinators with others! Contact us if you are interested in hosting a pollinator education event in your area.
